Terms of Service

1. The Service

Starfix identifies Amazon customer reviews (generally reviews rated 1 to 3 stars) that appear to violate Amazon's Community Guidelines, and prepares and submits reports requesting their removal to Amazon. The process is AI-assisted and human-managed: automated classification helps identify and assess reviews, and the actual reporting to and communication with Amazon is carried out and managed by our team.

Starfix operates strictly on the basis of Amazon's own Community Guidelines. We do not provide legal services, legal advice, or legal representation. We do not contact reviewers, and we do not alter, edit, or fabricate review content.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Whether a review is removed is determined solely by Amazon. Starfix has no control over Amazon's decisions, processes, or timing. Accordingly:

• We do not and cannot guarantee that any review will be removed.
• We do not guarantee any particular timeline for review or removal.
• Submitting a report does not oblige Amazon to take any action.

Our obligation is limited to assessing eligible reviews and preparing and submitting good-faith removal reports based on Amazon's Community Guidelines. The absence of a removal is not a failure of the Services or a breach of these Terms.

3. Business Use Only (No Consumers)

The Services are offered exclusively to businesses, sole traders, and other commercial sellers acting in the course of their trade, business, craft, or profession. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are acting for purposes relating to your commercial or business activity and not as a consumer. The Services are not intended for, marketed to, or available to private consumers.

If you access the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.

4. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@starfix.ai of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts where information is inaccurate or where we reasonably suspect misuse or violation of these Terms.

5. Your Data and Inputs

To use the Services, you provide product identifiers (such as ASINs), and you may connect your Amazon seller account via Amazon's authorised OAuth flow. You represent and warrant that:

• You have all necessary rights and authority to submit the products and identifiers you provide and to request the Services in respect of them;
• Your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and with Amazon's applicable terms and policies; and
• The information you provide is accurate and provided in good faith.

You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant Starfix a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Services. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Fees, Payment, and Billing

The Services are provided on a pay-for-results basis. Fees, currency, and billing details are those presented to you at the time of order and in your dashboard or invoice, and are also described in our Client Handbook. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, levies, or duties, for which you are responsible.

• A per-removal charge arises only in respect of a review that is confirmed as removed. No removal fee is charged for reviews that are not removed.
• You authorise Starfix and its third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe) to store your payment method and to charge it for fees due under these Terms.
• Invoices are issued to you by email and/or made available in your dashboard. Payment is due on the terms stated on the invoice.
• Except as expressly stated or as required by applicable law, fees paid are non-refundable. You remain responsible for reasonable costs of collecting undisputed past-due amounts.

We may change our fees prospectively. Changes do not affect charges already incurred and take effect for orders placed after the change is communicated or displayed.

7. Client Acknowledgements

By requesting removal of one or more reviews, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are requesting the Services in respect of the specific reviews you have selected;
• You accept the applicable per-removal fee for each such review that is successfully removed;
• No removal outcome is guaranteed and Amazon alone decides the result; and
• Reviews may need to be reported to Amazon more than once, and some reviews may never be removed.

8. Exclusive Handling of Assigned Reviews

This keeps cases clean and avoids conflicting reports to Amazon, which can cause reviews to be rejected. It also ensures that when a review you assigned to us is removed, the outcome and the per-removal fee are attributable to our work. If a review you assign to us is already being handled elsewhere, please tell us before selecting it so we can coordinate or exclude it.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, directly or indirectly:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purpose;
• Submit false, misleading, or bad-faith removal requests, or misrepresent your identity or authority;
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to build a competing service from the Services;
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or related systems;
• Use the Services in any way that violates Amazon's terms or applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, content, classification logic, report templates, and related materials, are owned by Starfix or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your internal business purposes only. No other rights are granted.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third parties (including Amazon and payment processors such as Stripe). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. Starfix is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or decisions of any third party, including Amazon's decision whether or not to remove a review.

12. Data Protection

In providing the Services, Starfix processes personal data, which may include the names of reviewers as displayed publicly on Amazon and the contact and account data of Client personnel. Starfix processes such data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where required, the parties will enter into a separate data processing agreement (DPA). You represent that, to the extent you provide personal data to us, you are entitled to do so.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starfix disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Starfix does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any review will be removed.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starfix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Starfix's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Starfix in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Starfix and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your submission of inaccurate or bad-faith removal requests, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Term, Termination, and Cancellation

These Terms apply from your first use of the Services and continue until terminated. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon notice of cancellation, no new removal reports will be filed; however, reviews already submitted may continue to be processed, and fees for any such reviews that are subsequently removed remain payable. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or where we reasonably suspect misuse or unlawful activity. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including fees due, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive.

17. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or via the dashboard. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any mandatory law, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

19. General

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any order, the Client Handbook, and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Starfix regarding the Services.
• Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
